First Crowdfunding.

First Solar Job Training.

Within a week of launching Solar Holler, we’d outstripped the capacity of everyone who knew how to install solar in West Virginia. First Solar Financing.

After talking with hundreds of families across Appalachia who wanted to go solar–but whose banks wouldn’t serve them, we decided to launch West Virginia’s first affordable financing program.

We’ve gotten this far, but we’re just getting started. We relentlessly pursue new solutions that make solar the most affordable choice for all our neighbors.

A West Virginia Benefit Corporation

We’re on a mission to make clean energy affordable; to rebuild our Appalachian economy; and to spread the benefits of clean energy to those who need it most. We believe that our business can be the change we want to see. In a first for West Virginian solar, we built these core principles into our charter, so that no bank or investor can ever keep us from focusing on what matters to us–treating our colleagues fairly, our communities with respect, and our mountains with reverence.
