How Will Solar Save Me Money?
Think of it as a bill swap. Instead of paying the utility for power each month, you’ll be paying off your solar system with a low fixed monthly payment. Often your solar payment is less than your utility bill would have been.
Will we still have a utility bill?
Yes you will. By being connected to the power grid, you’ll always have to pay a connection fee ($12 or less per month). And you’ll still have to pay for any power you use from the grid, which is different for every customer— but the idea is that your solar fully or substantially offsets usage of grid power.
What are your loan terms?
We work with a few different partners to ensure customers can access the best solar financing terms available at any given time. We always have a range of loan options available and our team of solar financing experts will help you decide what makes the most sense for your budget and goals.
Do I need Home Equity?
No home equity needed in our approach. Our solar loans are secured only by the panels–allowing you to save that home equity for the college fund.
What Happens when I Decide to go Solar?
We do 2 things: an in depth utility bill analysis to determine how much energy you need and what you’re paying for it; and we build a precise 3-D model of your home, trees, chimneys, etc. We call this a sunshine analysis and it’s totally free to get one.
Will solar save me money on Day 1?
Maybe. Every system is different. But one thing is for sure — you can lock in your cost of power for the next 20 years protecting you from the utility price hikes that happen year after year.
